I have a question about #26 on page 154. The question is asking you to solve for x in the equation mx+(m+1)x=8mx+4. I get to a certain step and then I don't know how to continue. These are the steps I have taken. Step 1: mx+(m+1)x=8mx+4 Step 2: mx+mx+x=8mx+4 Step 3: 2mx+x=8mx+4 Step 4: x=6mx+4 I don't know what else to do after this. Can someone explain to me what the next step should look like?

Step 1: mx+(m+1)x=8mx+4
Step 2: mx+mx+x=8mx+4
Step 3: 2mx+x=8mx+4
Step 4: x=6mx+4
I don't know what else to do after this. Can someone explain to me what the next step should look like?
I think that is as simple as it goes, since you already isolated the variable (x) on one side.
