Stop Taking Shortcuts!
You are crossing a field of broken glass! Lesson Master 2-2B was not anyone's best work. You need to redo all the problems that are lacking a check mark. Use lined paper, copy the expression, and show the steps to simplification. One word of advice: change all subtraction signs to addition of the opposite before you begin to simplify. Be sure to change all the addition of the opposite signs to subtraction in your final expression.
If you are having trouble, I'll meet you at 8:00AM in my room.
Other homework:
Lesson 2-3, CTI and guided examples. There are two guided examples. Example 3 is very important. Step 7 should be n + 6 - n = 6.

MMV<3,
I tried your puzzle and it doesn't seem to work for negative numbers. I tried -1 and -50. Am I wrong or is there a mistake in the puzzle?
