You need to become very efficient and accurate when applying these. Tonight's homework provides you with that practice. You also need to become very good with factoring. The type of factoring that you are learning now is called factoring out the GC monomial F (remember GCF...from sixth grade?). You will learn other types of factoring as the year progresses.
Homework:
- Finish Lesson 2-2, Applying.
- Finish Lesson Master 2-2B.

Hey Mrs. Burke
I just wanted to leave a comment telling you that the math test went well for me(I hope that my grades reflect that). I found that doing the chapter review really helped and then ofcourse reading over your notes, and I know this sounds crazy but it helped me to just re-read the chapter. Also does your grade only raise if you get a 90 or higher on the test or if you get higher than the previous quiz grades?

Hi Jen,
I think that the grade raise is if you get a 90 or higher on the test.
Enjoy this rule while it lasts! You won't come across it in high school! :)
It was great to visit Woods yesterday! :)
