From One Who Could Not Remember His Password...

Dear Mrs. Burke,
I hope that you'll be generous and at least give me credit for composing this email for you. As you might have realized I forgot my password and screenname again. I'm sure that learning all the diffrent formulas this year will help me in (I hope to be in) geometry or algebra 2 next year. I know that the quadratic formula will be on the placement test because of all the emphasis you put on that in class. Sorry I couldn't come into today, but the review we did in class helped me a lot and tonight I finished all of chapter 10 in my packet to prepare for my Gonzaga placement test. I also enjoyed (even though it was only for a week or so) sending you letters with that calculator program. I hope that you use it more next year. Thank you for teaching me how to find the x intercepts on a graph and I promise that if I ever find a formula for the projected path of me throwing a baseball, I'll be sure to apply what I've learned. Finally I'm glad that you taught us about radical and irradical numbers. I'm sure that no other math teacher could've taught me about them in a way that I would understand, and like you always say I'm sure it will be on the placement test.

P.S I can truly say thank you for the cookies because I'm the only one who won the poetry contest and got to enjoy an entire batch.

I'll miss you but I know you'll be back. Practice for your test on Saturday and check your calculator to be sure the batteries are okay.
Since I made you cookies, perhaps you could write a math poem!
