Hi Mrs. Burke,
I have learned a lot of math this year. I think my most favorite or most interesting thing I learned this year was about graphing parabolas, exponential growth and exponential decay, and knowing the difference among them. I also enjoyed learning the Quadratic Formula because I like inserting values to the equation to solve for the x intercept. I also think factoring and simplifying square roots is fun! Being in your class, I have also learned how to solve many types of equations with variables and I think I will be well prepared for any equation in high school. I have also learned to simplify many other values, such as fractions, fractions with variables or an equation with coefficients with common factors. I have really enjoyed having you as a math teacher this year and I want you to know that I think it has paid off. I placed in honors geometry for my freshman year! Your cookies were soo good too!

Congratulations on placing into honors geometry, not that I didn't expect that you would! You have been a great student and I expect to hear wonderful things about you.
