Addition in Algebra
Tonight's assignment is review from seventh grade. You should be sure that you have the properties memorized.
1. Read Lesson 3-1 and answer the questions in Covering the Reading.
2. Use the AMC 8 practice test to help you prepare for next Tuesday. The test will be given during your arts period.

Hey Mrs. Burke,
I printed out some other AMC 8 samples and I am working on them now. Some of them are really hard and I hope they are not as hard on the actual test. See you tomorrow.

Can I just subtract the known addend from the sum to get the variable in the future for these types of addition problems?
