I am having trouble on questions 15 and 16. I do not get how to factor out numbers on those kinds of expressions. I get how to do it on the expressions in the example but not these. Have a good day.
I had a little trouble with factoring myself but I think I understand it. In question 15 the expression is 15ab+40c-10 to factor out five you you divide each term by five so the expression becomes 3ab+8c-2. Then you put it in parenthesis like this- 5(3ab+8c-2) to show that you can multiply each term by five to get the "real" expression. Does this help?

Oh good explination (how do you spell that? haha) GoFigure. I had trouble too, but that cleared things up for me. Thanks! =]
