Hey i did my self test and then went back to the book to correct it but there were no answers to the self test.

Did anyone else get this problem?

I don't see them either. There is a chart where the answers should be though. I was reading the paragraph explaining the chart, but I don't understand how it works. =[

Scala,

To calculate MAD using lists:
1.Values: Enter values in L1.

2.Mean: Press 2nd Mode. Then go to Catalog (2nd-0) and press the division symbol (M) to bring up all things starting with M. Find mean and enter in L1. (should look like- mean(L1))Get answer and enter it into L2.

3. Deviation: Highlight L3 and enter L1-L2.

4. Absolute Deviation: Highlight L4. Enter abs(L3). (Get abs() in MATH.)

5. Mean of Absolute Deviation: Press 2nd Mode. enter mean(L4). Get answer (ROUND TO TENTH).

6. Write answer in math journal =].

TADA!

Hope this helped.
