Well first, I counted the number of yellow hexagonal tiles in each term. (6, 10, 14, 18)I also drew out a fourth term, because I thought it would be easier to find the pattern. Is there any pattern you can find with the sequence(6,10,14,18). Once you find the pattern, it will be easier to write the expression. Hope this helped!
I had some difficulty with 1.3 Exploration problem #20. It took me a while to figure out the pattern. To see if I understood patterns, I tried #21, but couldn't get it. I need to review strategies for finding patterns. Does anyone have helpful tips????

it's just like what we did in class try to look at the number of tiles in each of the example from different persectives and you'll make a pattern
