For question 14 I don't know what you would place in one of the blank spots. You are supposed to complete each sentence to show examples of the distributive property. The sentence is 10a+80 = 10(?+?). I know that "a" goes in one of the blanks because in the original you are multiplying 10 by a. Except I don't know what goes into the other blank. 80 cannot go into it because in the original, you aren't multiplying 10 by 80. If you put 80 inside the parantheses, it would mean you are multiplying it by 10. Help?
Wuhwhogal, Let's use 12(5+3) as an example. You can rewrite it as (12*5)+ (12*3). This is equivalent to (60)+ (36), right? So what do you multiply 10 by to get 80?
In #24, when they say "12.5% of their days watching television in 2004". Does that mean 12.5% of the year they spend watching television or that 12.5% of one day they spend watching television?
Sarah, I know it is a little late but for question 24. I think it is twelve.five percent of one day. That would be about 3 hours and that makes sense, right?

Yeah it's opitional. Mrs. Burke said the review would be good practice for the test though.

I do not think that section 2.1 is optional. I am not sure so you might want another opinion, but I am going to do it all anyway, just in case.
