Yes, all of you. What does the direction Define each variable mean? What is the difference between an expression and an equation?
I may have other questions later when I finish your Lesson Masters. I think a pop quiz might be a good idea.

An equation is a complete sentence and has an equal sign, and and expression is more like a sentence fragment. For example:
Equation: 3+4=7
Expression: 3+4
When a question asks to define a variable you should tell what the variable means. For Example:
Dana and Paul have 2 paintings and they decided to make a 2 more each week. How many will the two have after n weeks?
2 + 2n
Defining my variable: n=number of paintings.
