Questions/Answers

In class today, we were using CATALOG to find mean. Mean is also located under the list key (2nd STAT). Thanks to NJM for helping with this.

When I say to finish everything in a lesson, that mean the first three sections, not the Exploration. Sometimes I do assign the Exploration but I usually explain that in class.

On your own, after you read a Lesson, you should be able to answer all the questions in Covering the Ideas. Of course, you are able to answer the questions in Review as well. The more challenging section is Applying the Mathematics. If you struggled with Covering the Ideas, Applying will be quite a challenge. That is why you need to get your questions about CTI answered in class or on the blog.


Homework:

1. Lesson 1-6, Applying.


2. Lesson 1-7, Covering the Ideas. You must use the process that we practiced in school today. See p. 49.


3. Quiz, Lessons 1-4 through 1-6 on Thursday. Be sure your calculator has batteries that work!
