Have You Commented Lately?

I need to see more comments that have math language in them. You could talk about sets, answer other students' questions, or write about your most challenging problem or favorite problem. At least three sentences are required for full credit.

Homework:

Finish the Pizzazz worksheets.

I really enjoyed the "Bad Joke Worksheet" for our homework tonight. [I'm not trying to be inappropriate by calling it that. We used to call it that with Ms. Hogan.] It really helped me with sets a lot more. As well as adding a little bit of humor into homework! And the other side of it, Watch Out, really helped me with understanding subsets a little more! I was a little bit confused before this fun clarification!

I am catching on when it comes to sets, subsets, unions, and overlaps. I agree with ♥gabs16 about the Bad Joke Worksheet. It really did help me better understand the above terms. Today in class that explanation of sets and factors was as close to a 'revalation' for me (don't tell Mrs. Swanda I said that) I definately caught on after that. I had a question about #3 on the math hw. I know how to get the answer but I am confused on how to get the answer with the Distributive Property. Someone help!!!

I find the expanding a fraction example in lesson 2-1 very interesting. I never knew that you could change a division problem into a addition problem! But I do not understand example 4. Wouldn't you have to add 36 and 3x before deviding by 18?
