Hi Mrs. Burke.
What we learned this year... I don't know where to begin! The thing that is freshest on my mind is the quadratic formula and discrimenants. I also learned to factor square roots. This is hard to believe but way back in September, you were telling us what an unknown was! If I had to retake that class I would feel like an idiot. You also introduced the different kinds of numbers to us, real numbers, irrational numbers, rational numbers, integers, whole numbers, natural numbers, etc. I also remember the unit on sets we did, with the union and intersection of sets and venn diagrams.

We also learned the discrete and continuous models for fractions. Then we started number lines with the solid and blank dots, I could never get those right! After the number lines we move on to graphs. I thought it was cool to be able to show all the possible answers for an inequality.

Well Mrs. Burke, if I listed everything that I learned this year, I would be typing all night! Thanks a lot for a wonderful last year at Woods!!
