Correlation Coefficient

I finally figured out how to get the correlation coefficient r to show up automatically when you perform a linear regression. You need to use the CATALOG key, above 0. Scroll down to DiagnosticOn and press ENTER. When you see the words DiagnosticOn on the home screen, press ENTER again. Now, when you perform a linear regression the r and another coefficient (R squared) will automatically appear.

Good luck with understanding compound interest.

Thank you for the help! Will we be allowed to use our calculators on the test since we are learning all about how to use them, or should I study without using a calculator? Thanks! :)

Hey Mrs. Burke,
Did we have to do CR for homework for Monday?
See you tomorrow? (maybe just in the halls)

p.s. For a few minutes the blog showed up blank on my computer, and didn't show that KES had commented. Did anyone else see this?

Hi Mrs. Burke,
the web site kind of confused me. Maybe it'll be easier to understand once I read the lesson :).
See you tomorrow (in the hallways).

Hi Mrs. Burke!
Now compound interest makes sense! I think reading the lesson helps! :)
I had to read over example 2 several times. Couldn't one also, instead of writing out 2.03 several times to multiply 100 by these factors, take the balance of the previous year and multiply that balance by 1.03? That's what makes most sense to me.
See you tomorrow!

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I was wondering what you guys did in class today. Do we only have to study for our test on Tuesday?
See you on Monday!
