Tables, Graphs and Equations..you can never have enough!

I have been impressed with how well you are all able to use your calculators. You are entering equations correctly and using your soft keys (the ones under the display) to set the window, calculate intersection, and adjust tables. These are the skills that you will use throughout high school math .

Re: checking inequalities. This is a done deal. If you do not know how to check an inequality after Tuesday's class, you need to come after school for help. Next week we will finish Chapter 5 so an assessment is coming, probably Tuesday, February 13. You will also have a quiz next week on Lessons 5-4 thought 5-7.

Due on Thursday:

1. Lesson 5-7, Covering the Reading.
2. Study for the quiz on Lessons 5-1 through 5-3.

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I couldn't come to school today because I'm sick! :(
What's the homework for tonight? When should I make up the quiz?
Are you coming to the ski trip! I hope it's post-poned so that I can definately come....I'll take lots of vitamin c, drink lots of orange juice, and get plenty of rest!
See you (hopefully) tomorrow!

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I don't know why, but I liked today's class a lot. I really liked isolating variables the way we did it today! :)
