Frequency vs. Probability

I want you all to complete questions 1-5 in the In-Class Activity. That includes drawing the table and filling in the data using the Probability Simulation application on your calculator. Once you have completed that activity, you need to go to the 7-8 Math page on the Woodsnet. Under Mrs. Burke's' Downloads, you will see Lesson 6-4. This is a Powerpoint presentation that you need to view and understand. If you understand this, then you are in good shape for Monday. Otherwise, check out Lesson 6-4 in your text.

For Monday:

1. Finish Lesson 6-3, Applying.
2. See above under Frequency vs. Probability.

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I checked the powerpoint, and it makes sense. The In-Class Activity wasn't too hard either.
I hope you find my test!
Have a great weekend!

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I just finished the presentation and it was all clear except one thing: on slide 2, you said that the probablility of having a boy is 51.2%. But shouldn't be 51.2% in 1990?
See you on Monday!
