Happy New Year!
It's time to pull your math books out of your lockers. Algebra becomes much more fun after Christmas break, if you can believe it could get any better! You will be doing more interesting math than just solving linear equations and you will learn some really neat tricks on your calculator.
I've had a great break. This past week I went to the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte, NC where BC beat Navy 25-24 with three seconds to go. My seat was right on the 20-yard line so I had a good view of Steve Aponavicius' longest field goal (37 yards).

I had a great Christmas Break too! I spent a lot of time with my family infront of the fireplace. It was very relaxing!
