A Very Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, I did correct your quizzes before I left for Thanksgiving break. You and I have much to be thankful for algebraically. You all performed very well; several of you had perfect scores. It seems that you all know your properties and can identify them in examples.

On Monday, we will continue using the Distributive Property of Multiplication over Addition to solve equations. You also need to remember that this property is useful when factoring. You should be able to factor out a common monomial. More about that language on Monday!

Tuesday's Assignment:

You should have finished Covering the Reading in Lesson 3-7.

Hello Mrs. Burke!
Thank you for correcting our quizzes so quickly, I feel better knowing that many of us recieved a perfect score. I've had a very nice weekend and hope you had one too.
I think I need to work on factoring a monomial. I don't quite understand what that means.
See you tomorrow!

Hi Mrs. Burke,
thanks for correcting our quizzes so quickly!
I think that I need a little more help figuring out the language (monomial, etc.). I think I am getting the basics of what we've been doing in class.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! The food was amazing!

Hey Mrs. Burke,
I hope I got a good grade on the quiz we just took. I feel pretty confident. I still need to practice on the Distributive Property. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
See ya tomorrow.
