Distributive Property!
If you would like to review the Distributive Property of Multiplication over Addition/Subtraction, check out this website.
Today's Assignment:
1. Finish Lesson 3-7. Show all steps when solving equations. Now is not the time to be taking shortcuts!
2. Practice the Distributive Property on the handout that I gave you. You may need to write the problems in your Math Journal. In any event, be sure to punch the handout and keep it in your three-ring binder.
3. Study for the quiz which will be given at the end of class.

Hi Mrs. Burke!
Thanks for the worksheet so we can practice the Distributive Property. Do you have the answer sheet so I can do some extra problems? I'll come see you in the morning.

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I found the web site you suggested very helpful. Now I understand why we were using the tiles in class! If someone want extra help, just type in " the distributive Property " (without the quotes).
Today was a good class!
See you tomorrow!

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I went back to the web site and looked at other things and I got really confused. But now I understand it!
See you tomorrow!

Remember that the tiles help you think about the distributive property but they cannot be used for every problem.
