Adding Algebraic Fractions
You all seemed to be doing fine with these. They will become more complicated later on...such is math. However, the algorithm remains the same.
Today's Assignment:
1. Finish Lesson 3-9.
2. Work on the cumulative test and/or the review in your text.
3. Bring your questions to class on Monday.
Remember...the test on Chapter 3 will happen on Tuesday!

Hi Mrs. Burke,
You're right, the Adding Algebraic problems were really easy. I made some careless mistakes today in class, but it's a very easy concept. Thanks for our quizzes, I was surprised with my grade!
See you tomorrow(though we have WAYS)

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I think I understand the concepts pretty well!
Is the test counted towards our 1st or 2nd trimester grade?
See you on Monday! Have a great weekend!

Just to make sure: -8x = 8 * x * -1, right?
Yes, -8x=8*x*-1.
See you on Monday, Mrs. Burke!

Was -8x=8*x*-1 something you went over in class on Thursday? I was not there so I do not know.
Hi Mrs. Burke,
I feel really prepared for the test tomorrow because of all the work I got done today!
Thanks for clarifying that one over three n is equal to one n over three and one over three n.
It makes sense now!
See you tomorrow!

To find the side length of a side of a triangle if you are given the other two sides' lengths, use the formula a squared + b squared = c squared.
See you tomorrow!

Hi Mrs. Burke,
I hope we all did REALLY well on the math test! Wouldn't it be AWESOME if everyone got 100%???
I think that would be really cool.
I think 3-10 is pretty easy. It's basically like solving ax+b=c, except that it has an inequality!
See you tomorrow, but in class on Thursday!

Hey Mrs. Burke,
Did we do well on the tests?
I'm a little nervous.
See you tomorrow.
