Don't Forget Your Password!

I really enjoyed using the TI-Navigator with you today. Think of all the possibilities... pop quizzes every day, answering test questions on your calculator. There are many more interesting activiteis that can be done and you will be introduced to graphing activities sometime next week. Did you write down your password somewhere?

Today's Assignments:

1. Finish up Lesson 2-7.
2. Plan for a quiz on Lessons 2-4 through 2-7 either Friday or next Monday.
3. The Chapter 2 test will take place a week from Monday.

Hi Mrs. Burke!
Today was a fun class. I really enjoyed working with our calculators.
Can we only send messages if we're connected to the things that were on the desks?
See you tomorrow!

P.S.: of course I wrote down my password AND username!

Hello, again
You said under the assignments that the chapter 3 test will be a week from Monday. Did you mean Chapter 2, or are we going to finish all of Chapter 3 that quickly?

Hey Mrs. Burke,
I thought the NavNet was pretty cool! I don't think I'll be here Friday, so should I take the quiz on Monday? I'd also like a review sheet for the rates problems. They're tricky, and I'd like a bit more practice.
Thank you!
AMS

P.S.Thanks for the light homework!

You were right about the Chapter 3 test being incorrect. I meant to type Chapter 2. I changed it...sorry about the mixup.

You will take tests and quizzes using TI-Navigator. In fact, I have one ready for class tomorrow (Thursday).

Hey Mrs. Burke,
Does the quiz we took on NavNet today count for a quiz grade? I think taking a quiz on the calculator would be tricky since there are some glitches in the system. See you tomorrow!

Dear Mrs. Burke,
I dont understand 4(b) in 2-8 Covering the Reading.
Also I don't know what my password or username is, Can I meet with you after school on friday for a bit. If not i can just come in at break and see if you have a free moment to help me catch up on what I missed and how to raise my grade.
See you tomorrow.

Is there a way to solve an equation like 3x=12 on our calculators?

Dear Mrs. Burke,
I thought that I understood the Rate Factor Model for Multiplication, but I really don't get it. Is there a chance that i could meet with you sometime before the test tomorrow (Friday)? I have been trying to teach it to myself but it isn't working out to well.
